Antique natural linen laundry bag
What a sweet addition to any laundry room to brighten up the space and give it the retro or shabby chic look. This hand-embroidered laundry bag is probably from the Edwardian era because of the heavy satin stitch lettering in turkey red. It is 18” wide by 26” long without the fringe. It’s attached to oval wooden handles and sports a tied red silk ribbon which is starting to fall apart, and a fringe at the bottom of the bag. There are some spots and stains and we’ve re-attached part of the fringe. We did not want to launder the bag as it would detract from its original charm. Please look at the photos for details and blemishes. A rare find.
