Special Madeira embroidered table/tea cloth
The embroidery is superb on this vintage Madeira square tea/table cloth, c. 34” x 34” with 4 matching napkins, c. 11” x 11”. The background is white linen and the embroidery is done in pastels of yellow, pink, blue & green. Eyelet, cut work, and French knots add to the overall pleasing design and execution of this set. Imagine it on your Easter table along with a vase of Jonquils. The buttonhole edging has loosened in a few spots, see detail picture. We suspect its from the 1950's.
