8 piece set of vintage all natural linen rectangular placemats (4/12"x17") and square napkins (4/13x13), NOS, placemats are still attached by thread, original tags intact, see picture.
Embroidered with sprigs held by appliqued bows in gold cotton thread by the Imperial Linens Company in Madeira, Portugal, one of the premier embroidery companies of its time.
These have never been used, but exhibit some shelf stains. They should come out with gentle soaking and washing.
