These vintage, used, heavy cotton German pillow shams are probably mid-century, maybe earlier judging by the monogram, in good condition and circa 30” square, made to fit the typical German down feather pillows. They could also be made of "Halbleinen", the German version of the French "Metis." This fabric is a mix of cotton and linen, and extremely durable. They are buttoned at the bottom of the reverse side with 4 MOP buttons. Laundered and pressed, they are ready to receive their feather inserts and grace your bed or guest bed. Perfect complement for the cottage/farmhouse or shabby chic look. We'll let you hazard a guess as to the monogram.
